Hi
I am reading the value of the pot using a nano.
My pot is a 10K
Should I connect the pot to the 5V or the 3.3V on the nano?
What is the correct method?
Which Nano? The regular Nano is 5V but I think there are 3.3V versions.
Its the 3.3 version but is has a VIN, 5V, 3.3V pin
Do not use the 5V pin as you could damage the analogue pin that you are going to use
Connect one end of the pot track to GND, the other to 3.3V and the pot slider connection to the analogue pin
Exactly which "Nano" board do you have ?
No it is not. It is a clone of the classic Nano
In that case you can put the pot across GND and 5V or GND and 3.3V
Thank you!
