ATtiny 45 Bootloader

Hello Everyone,

I was doing some research and I am not sure if you need to install a bootloader on a ATtiny45 chip. Some websites tell you to just directly program the chip using a Arduino Uno (which I have). If you need to put on bootloader, how do you do it as there are no websites that I have found that explain how to installbootloader on ATtiny45.

Thanks,
Jeremy

also the tinyx5 range dont have a UART, which is generally what the bootloader uses to program the chips… USBISP is the way to go, really easy once you get the hang of it, and you can use it on just about every uP
