Attiny cluster

Hi , i have a few attiny24 (~100 of them )and i want to make a cluster to try and use it at md5 hasing.I am not sure how they are going to be connected, spi bus maybe?Does anyone tried that before?Also what other fun projects do you think i could use the attiny's for?,

What does that mean?

Datasheet:

Maybe program them to duplicate WS2811 type chips for control of 2 RGB LEDs;
buffer the clock and data line and pass them along with 4 of the other pins.
