ATtiny Software Serial

Hi, I’m using this forum section because it has to do with ATtiny, but it might also fit Programming.

I’m trying to use the JY-MCU Bluetooth Module with an ATtiny84. I would very much like to be able to both send and receive.

Here’s my code:

#include <SoftwareSerial.h>

#define RX_PIN 9
#define TX_PIN 10
#define LED 1
String message = "";
char incoming;

SoftwareSerial BTSerial(RX_PIN,TX_PIN);

void setup(){
  Serial.begin(9600);
  BTSerial.begin(9600);
  pinMode(LED,OUTPUT);
}
void loop(){
  getBT();
  if(message=="on"){
    digitalWrite(LED,HIGH);
  }
  else{
    digitalWrite(LED,LOW);
  }
}
void getBT(){
  if(BTSerial.available()){
    message = "";
    while(BTSerial.available()){
      incoming = BTSerial.read();
      message+=incoming;
    }
  }
  if(Serial.available()){
    BTSerial.write(Serial.read());
  }
}

The problem is I’m getting the error message:

ATtiny84_BT_Test.ino:1:29: fatal error: SoftwareSerial.h: No such file or directory

I thought I may have misspelled it, but no, it’s not even listed as a library for my cores. It’s in the default cores, but not the arduino tiny ones.

These are my cores, I’m running 1.6.4.

Is there any way to accomplish this?

Import the library, looks like you dont have it.
