ATtiny85 for frequency measurements?

Is it possible to use an ATtiny85 to measure frequencies of about 140kHz? Nice square waves, 50% duty cycle. If so, what would be the recommended approach?

You could divide the input signal frequency to a range manageable by ATtiny85. Details are posted in my project:

Thanks, that is very useful, although it more or les confirms that an ATtiny85 is not the best choice for this subject.
