10k pull up and 10k pull down. (assuming that the pull-up is typical on all units)
so ,the voltage divider circuit is keeping the level at about 2.5 volts.
or, is it at 5V until you press a switch ? then it brings it to 2.5v ?
(does the 85 have internal pull-ups?)
