I am going to use an ATtiny85 controller to monitor heat tape with a thermistor, when the tape gets over the heat range it will turn the outlet off with a ssr. When it gets below the range it will turn the outlet on. I was wondering what the hook up would lol like to add two digital buttons? One button to index the range up by one and the other to index the range down by one. And if I had a reset button would that reset the chip and put the range back to the programmed default range?
Schematic
To left digital button reset
Down one range up
Down another range down
Would that be hooked up right? And would the reset button reset the range to the default programmed range?
Please help.
What hookup ? You haven't submitted a schematic or pin usage list for the chip. How do we know what you are connecting to what ? Submit a pin assignment for you application . Draw a schematic with pen & paper and take a photo of it with your cell phone and post it with the requested information. Have you used an ATtiny85 before ? Have you looked at the datasheet ?
