So i am getting flash error -71 on 2 of my 3 usb ports for my laptop thats running linux when i try to upload to my ATTINY85. Originally i was getting "Assertion 'res >=4' failed" on all the ports before i added this file https://github.com/platformio/platformio-core/blob/develop/scripts/99-platformio-udev.rules.
Any ideas what might be causing this issue? Its working for the moment on the one port but i REALLY want to find the issue so all will work for uploading.
