Attiny8x + nrf24l01 - RF24Network no comunication

Hi everybody, i have a issue whit ATtiny8x and RF24Network... Is any chance to run that on Attiny? RF24 work's fine but Network don't work.. Any sugestion ? If is a wrong Board realy sory but is other microcontoler... Cheers Peter

This is probably the best board for this inquiry.

Which ATTiny? Each of the ATTinies is different.

Links to the libraries you're using?

What is the symptom? Do something in the code, if possible, to alert you when it restarts, so you can see if it's repeatedly resetting itself.

Post your code? Maybe there's a bug in it, but we don't have a crystal ball, so we can't tell you.

Have you tested the same code on a '328p?

Does your code use String class, or other dynamic memory allocation? How much free SRAM do you have (as reported by compiler)? The ATTiny's with 8k of flash typically have only 512 bytes of SRAM.

hi,
have problem whiot Attiny85 and Attiny84…
I have no problem to comunikate whit sigle node’s using RF24 lib
but when try use a RF24Network is dead … no trasmision no recive…
Code was testet on Arduino Uno/Nano/Single ATmega328 and works but not on Attiny

I use RF24 by TMRh_20 v.1.1.2 and RF24Network1.01

Code for Attiny85

#include "DHT.h"
#include <RF24Network.h>
#include "RF24.h"
RF24 radio(4,7);
#define DHTPIN 3
#define DHTTYPE DHT11
DHT dht(DHTPIN, DHTTYPE);
RF24Network network(radio);      // Network uses that radio
const uint16_t this_node = 02;    // Address of our node in Octal format ( 04,031, etc)
const uint16_t other_node = 00;
struct payload_t {
   int node;
   float temp;
   float hum;
};
void setup() {
      dht.begin();
      radio.begin();
      network.begin(/*channel*/ 90, /*node address*/ this_node);
}

void loop() {
    network.update();
    payload_t  payload = {this_node, dht.readTemperature(), dht.readHumidity() };
    RF24NetworkHeader header(/*to node*/ other_node);
    network.write(header,&payload,sizeof(payload));

delay (1000);
}

Links to the libraries you're using? I just yesterday lost a few hours because I thought I was using one version of a library and was actually using a different version with the same "version".

Lib url: http://tmrh20.github.io/RF24Network/

Sketch uses 7,204 bytes (87%) of program storage space. Maximum is 8,192 bytes.
Global variables use 217 bytes of dynamic memory.
