Hi all,
I have bought this sensor:
https://www.sparkfun.com/products/10643 from sparkfun. I soldered the battery input and output and small wires to go to the Arduino (V A and GND). If I connect those 3 wires, even without a battery attached, I hear my motor or hall sensor making a ticking sound, around one beat a second. Also the arduino disconnects from my pc. I suspect that I have a short circuit. I connect the sensor I and V to A4 and A5, and by the looks of it the soldering doesn't touch each other.
How can I solve this? I also don't get accurate values at all for my I and V.
I already tried re soldering the small wires without result. What I Do notice: the beating is gone now, but the values I get into Arduino are way off. When nothing is flowing of current it gave me a power of 38 watt. When connecting the one side to my ESC of my brushless motor, this value increased to 547 watt. Does anyone know what's going on?
