Audio message from Arduino to GSM over SIM800L

Hi comrades

I'm developing a pilot home-made anti-theft system using an Arduino, SIM800L and some text-to-speech libraries.

I want Arduino to have SIM800L call me and play for example, "ALERT ON ZONE 4"

Everything seems to be working nice and I'm getting acceptable speech on PIN3 via my headphone when some inputs triggers.

But, Is it safe for my SIM800L to connect arduino pin3 and GND to SIM800L microphone pins?

Is there any parts needed in between?

Any help?

Given the lack of information in your query, it is not surprising.

What does the SIM800L data sheet have to say about the microphone input?
How does that match up with the (presumably) 3.3V or 5V output of your (unspecified) Arduino?
