Hey, I made an electroluminescent wire mask that glows when the wearer talks. It has a small electret mic hidden in the nose and uses solid state relays to pulse the AC circuit. I could spend a little longer on refining it and make a better video, maybe later.

It would be interesting to see more arduino masks like that.
-you could have two wires and the face would change every time.
-different colors for different volumes
-a bunch of RGB leds that turn on in ripples when you talk
