aurdino wont show up in device manager

aurdino wont show up in device manager
neither device manager refreshes when i connect aurdino to port
aurdino ide -> tools -> port = greyed out

but green and orange light is working when connected with laptop....

Looking at that image (I'm assuming you're running a modern Windows version) I'm confused at the lack of USB ports anywhere.

Can you plug any other external USB device into your USB port and get it to register? To prove your laptop is OK regarding USB in general.
