I am wanting to play with SERVO motors and accelerometers.
What I am thinking of doing is a tripod thing which when turned on, will auto-level itself.
I'm guessing I will need a "motor shield" and an accelerometer. As well as 3 servo motors.
I don't know what else. Anyone mind giving me a poke and help me with what else I may need?
Yeah, ok.
I am wanting to get the servo motors to respond to tilting and "output" to level the platform.
I picked 3 servo motors rather than 2 (x/y) and make it a 3 point contact system.

The servos are the trivial part.
How will you detect whether the platform is level?
And how level do you want it to be?

Why? You only need 2 adjustments to level a tripod, the third leg can be a fixed height.

Boy, we got into a right old argument about that the last time this "auto-levelling" discussion ran!

Yes. And it was my post that started the topic.
