Auto polarity switching

Hi'
I have 2 amp 5v to 28v step up module, I use it for generating colloidal silver/copper set to 25v i power it with a 1 amp USB power source, and it outputs 1amp at 25v. It would be great if I could add an "auto polarity switching" so both electrodes wear out at the same time without me physically swapping them.

Any help appreciated

Welcome to the forum.

What will you use the colloidal silver/copper for ? I don't want to be part of a controversial health risk.

For spraying on cuts to help to heal, for when we lose electric and shops are empty.
It's for a first aid kit in times of need.

If you input 1 amp at 5v the maximum current you could get at 25v is 200mA, just from conservation of energy.

2 ways to switch polarity - use a 2 pole changeover relay configured as a reversing switch, with the coil driven from an Arduino at whatever rate you want to reverse the polarity. Or you could use an H-bridge to do the same but if you aren't comfortable with electronics a relay would be more reliable.

Use a 2 pole rocker switch.

I'm not any good with electronics to that degree, so the relay and Arduino sounds promising :slightly_smiling_face:

Was hoping to have it to work auto, but this is a good fail safe way if i find the other methods too challenging. :+1:
