Automated Irrigation System

Hi guys, I’m programming an automated irrigation system for my final high school proyect.
And I’m going to use:
-Sensor DHT 11
-Humidity sensor
-Arduino UNO

I already wrote the code, but I don’t have the sensors yet.

The aim of this proyect is to automatize, so, DHT 11 sensor will read the temperature of the ambient. Then, humidity sensor will read the humidity of the ground, with a conditional when humidity reaches ‘x’ level, a bomb will turn on 30 seconds and then off.
Both sensor will read the temperature.

I would like to know your opinion about if it’s going to work.

I cannot open that file on my device. If you post code as requested in the how to use this forum-please read stickies more members will see it and be able to offer assistance.

Keep in mind that, except for capacitive sensors, the moisture sensor will corrode over time making long term use impossible.

Why do you use a dht11 and not the dht22?

The dht22 is more accurate and i think the humidity of the dht11 (if you use that too) is not really thrustfull
