Im in need of some advice.
ive attached the ino from my project.
basically im trying to use 2x motors to draw a line on some wood,
it needs to be able to do min and max measurements,
or be able to move x distance from the begining / end of the wood before starting for example.
however ive gotten this far with the help of a friend who no longer has the time to help me, i dont want someone to write it for me but rather to give me guidance on how to do it.

Can you post a picture of your project, so we can see how you have arranged the motors.
Or a hand drawn diagram.
How are you measuring distance and controlling the motors?
Can you please post a copy of your circuit, in CAD or a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?

ive not currently got anything setup, however i intend to mock it up on the bench with a few DC motors.
i have a hardware encoder which i believe works out the size of the wood/metal were marking.
i currently dont have any drawings / diags yet. i shall be working on these soon.
all this is ment to do is find its start/finish limits, move to the home limit. ask for a size to mark, and then work from the centre out
so if we can 1m marking it will cut 0.5M both sides <-----HOME-----> (both markers will work outwards)
