Automatic way to press buttons with Arduino

Hello guys,

I need to create a system based on Arduino to press a simple remote control button. I've searched the web and found that I could use a linear actuator. Nevertheless I think that maybe there's a simpler component.

What do you think ?

Thank you.

The standard way is to copy the remote control signal to the Arduino, and let the Arduino transmit it.
Assuming it's a standard IR remote control.

Thanks for the tip Leo. Well, It's a RF remote control.

Car, garage?
They are usually 'protected' (rolling code), so you can't copy the code.

If you have a spare one that you can open, then you could use opto couplers to electrically 'press' the buttons.
