Hello everyone.
I'm new to Arduino and have a specific project in mind, I'm looking for advice on what hardware to begin with so that as my skills develop I can reach my goal without changing hardware (please bear with me).
The project at its bare minimum is to display on a small tft screen the temperatures from two k type thermocouples (engine intake temps) and a thermistor (ambient) and the differences between them.
Moving on in time I would like voltage 0-15v to be displayed as well as relative intake manifold pressure.
So back to the beginning again.
I was looking to start with an Arduino Uno however I am concerned that may run out of input pins on the board before I can even begin my project. I am considering a mega however i am concerned about compatibility with tft screens and thermocouple amplifiers of multiplexers.
Which board would be a good starting point for me that allow space for me to grow.. So to speak.
I have some years of moderate programming experience in C, VB, php.. as well as a basic knowledge of soldering irons and burnt fingers
