Automotive Infrared Short Range Lidar Sensor

Hi all,
I'm trying to read the output of this automotive lidar sensor..

after powering (12v DC) I can see the illuminator..

I tested the output of the two twisted couple of wire with a oscilloscope:
attached images..

the datasheet say two can interface output...

I would like to read the sensor output with an esp32..

do the oscilloscope waves looks like a CAN output?

is it ok to connect to M5Stack (esp32) by this CAN interface?

tnk a lot

The M5Stack may work, but don't spend any money until you have managed to get the programming reference documentation for the sensor. There are contact details on the data sheet. Automotive is a bit strange, the information you need may be freely available or might be hidden behind a non-disclosure agreement.

I tested with a rpi, modified MCP2515 and candump.... but no joy.. nothing displayed

do you think I can mail them to asking for sensor programming reference documentation??

tnks

This statement on the data sheet seems promising;
