Automotive light module project

Hello I am a newbie. I have been thinking about making a light control module for my kit car for a while and happened on the arduino and after some reading it seems plausible.

I've bought the arduino mega2560 over the standard one as it has more pins which I need for my application.

Obviously the current drain of incandescent bulbs can not be handled by the board directly so I am thinking about using an 8 way relay board each relay is capable of switching 10amps. I would've like to keep the switching solid state as no moving parts would never need replacing and therefore I could keep it all one self contained package. Is there a MOSFET that could achieve this, I have only seen something like 2 amps for these.

Tia

They're called power transistors. Since incadesence lamps arent really the most amp pullers, you can most likely go solid state. Just google power transistors or high current switching youll get all the stuff you need.

MJ15003 here is one rated at 140v and 20a, way more than youll need.
High Current DC Switch

Thanks Marioinc for the reply. Looks good.
