I have a small board marked simp-lan v1.4 that has an ethernet jack on one end and a row of pins on the other. There are 6 in a row then three cut off and then one more. The pins are marked VSS, P0, P2, P4, P6, P8, P10, P12, P14, VDD. There is one chip on the board, a Freescale MC9S12NE64VTU. I wonder if anyone here knows where I can get the manual or the pinout for this as I now have a project it would work in.
Thanks for any info you can supply, Stephen
The MC9S12NE64 is a microcontroller.
Perhaps you could upload a photo of the board ?
It seems to be build by this company: http://www.avcomtec.com
http://www.kellysearch.com/listing-detail/301110451/avcom-tec-llc
But I can't find any documentation for this module on their website.
The simplelan is a webserver with email and udp.
Try to google with this : avcom web server protoboard serout
You should find a pdf document.
It seems that the only information on the web are some pdf documents at vizseek.
Google this for the documents : site:vizseek.com simplelan
Or google for : 050-0412-R1.1
That seems to be the product number.
This is a forum post about it:
http://forums.parallax.com/showthread.php/100351-AvcomM-SimpleLan-web-server-interface-basic-stamp
But the link to the website of avcom is no longer valid.
Thanks, I found the pinout on one of the viseek links and sent a message to the parent company to see if there is a way to get the software. The parallax link was interesting because the poster with the link was me Thanks for your help, I'll let you know what I find or maybe I can reverse engineer it now that I know where to connect.
