All, is it just me, or has this issue been on-going forever. Never, the less, I'm now facing it. I'm upgrading my printer to include a bltouch. The firmware I have doesn't have it, so attempting update to the 2.0.x. All fine and dandy, except my display quit working. At this point I have reverted back to the downloaded 2.0.x. changed ONLY the one like to enable the RepRapDicount Full card. Which causes it to NOT compile. I've tried the suggestion of creating a new compile directory, and putting build.path=xxx in the config file. I've also completely deleted the arduino15 folder, and updated u8glib.
Ramps1.4 board, downloaded both marlin2.0.x, arduino 1.8.12, and the u8glib all today.
I believe the parameters t othe GCC command are exceeding the maximum, causing it to be truncated.
