I want to download a hex file to my arduno uno board with the avrdude programm.
I was not able to find any answer within the tons of post in the forum.
The output in the terminal shows that the PC can't esthablish the communication with the FTDI programmer. The output is stkv2_recaiveMessage()timeout.
Facts:
- programming the board with the AVR IDE works perfect. But it wont work with avrdude
- I have added a reset button from pin 1 of the Atmega328P to GND to manually invoke the reset signal if needed
- I'm using the FTDI Adapter. I don't know which FW version is on it but within the command line of avrdude i tried both versions (v1 and v2)
- The avrdude.conf file resides in the same directory as avrdude.exe
- I'm using Windows 7 64Bit
- The FDTI is dedected at COM Port 4
- I double checked the CPU model which is a Atmega328P -> so I'm using the m328p parameter
- The command is as follows:
avrdude -c stk500v2 -P\.\COM4 -p -v -F -D -Uflash:w:"test.hex":i
Please see the output within the terminal in the attachment
does anybody has an Idea what's wrong?
