avrdude lpt i/o address command (solved)

I am having a problem getting avrdude to work. I have built several parallel port programming cables, but the problem is I am using a PCI Parallel Port card using i/o address E880 - E887. Can anyone please tell me the command for avrdude with a non-standard i/o port address?

Update - finally got it figured out (with one of the devs help). The avrdude command line for specifying the port is -P 0xXXXX where XXXX is the address of the lpt port - in my case -P 0xe880 - I misinterpreted the manual as meaning that the 0x was added automatically - stupid mistake!

Hope this helps someone in the future...
