please help me , im just stuck inthis case for almost 4 hours and nothing change , even thoutgh that i "burn bootloader" its still the same

Welcome to the forum

More details please

Which Arduino board ?
Does a COM port get created when the board is plugged in ?

Which Arduino board do you have?
Is the board detected when you connect it to your PC?
Have you selected the correct COM port?

Was there a particular reason that you had to burn the bootloader?

board that i use is uno
its plugged on (COM 5)
BUT THERE IS NO FEEDBACK BETWEEN THE COMPUTER AND ARDUINO

I see that annoying messages so often that I usually have a terminal window open with

 killall avrdude

ready to go just to cut short the agony of watching it try and try what will always fail.

Capricious error.

Try a different Arduino board, a real one you did not boot loader youself.

Try a different port.
Try a different cable.
Reboot your machine.

Usually things get back on track and it's my own dumb mistakes impeding progress. :expressionless:

Pro tip: mark or better yet toss the bad cables you discover.

and the reason why im "burn bootloader" cause i just following the tutorial in the internet and its BECAUSE IM JUST A BEGINNER SO I DONT KNOW WHAT SHOULD I DO!

PLEASE HELP ME, THIS IS URGENT IM FOLLOWING CRETIVITY COMPETITION TOMORROW AND IM STILL STUCK IN THIS CASE :smiling_face_with_tear:

Please post a link to the tutorial that had you burn the boot loader.

I think we gonna have to do that again, only get it right.

And no need to SHOUT, it will not make any of us help you more, better or faster

actually i don't mean to scream but i just like to type with capital letters

So how do you solve this problem?

have you fallen asleep?

Please turn off your computer, wait 2 minutes, turn it on and retry.

Ok, i will try it

Also, what do you have connected to the UNO? and what pins are they using?

no pin installed in arduino

So what are you trying to control?

my arduino, cause i cant upload my own program

Did it ever work? Does COM5 disappear when you disconnect the board? If not, it's not your Arduino.

What does that mean? Does it mean that you tried the Loop-Back Test Instructions?

If so and if your Uno uses the CH340 TTL-to-USB converter, that test is not conclusive. What is the TTL-to-USB converter on your board (the chip closest to the USB port)? If the device shows in Windows device manager, you can check the VID and the PID and next look it up on the web to see which manufacturer/chip you have.

Do neither of your Arduino boards work? You had one that worked, to fix the one that didn't…
