Saddly, this doesn't works too...
OK. Hopefully you want to continue on this. ![]()
Is there any possibility your Pro Minis are 8MHz? I can bootload a Pro Mini 8MHz as a Pro mini 16MHz. If I do, I can not load using a FTDI. I have clones and it is hard to tell the difference between the 8MHz and the 16Mhz.Using a loop I can usually see something like 80 f on the crystal for the 8MHz.
We should start with loading the sketch "arduinoISp" on your Uno. Like you did before.
Then burn bootloader on one of your Pro Mini's 5V 16MHz. Once you get that to work, while you are still hooked up, go ahead and use the Sketch->Upload Using a Programmer (any small sketch like blink).
Show us the failure if you can't get it to work.
Then after verifying the sketch is working ,we should reload the bootloader .
My Blink sketch runs at a 2 sec interval instead of 1 sec when using a 8MHz crystal bootloaded for 16MHz. We do not want this. ![]()
With a known bootloader we can start working on the ftdi232 USB loading.
