Why? When I plug in my brand new Nano (clone), I cannot program it with "Blink" or anything, for that matter. The device identifies as "USB2.0-Serial" under "Other Devices" in the Device Manager. When I tried to install the driver for it (from arduino driver folder), it does not like any of the files. Sooo, Why? What file is it looking for?
What USB/Serial chip is on your clone? Download a driver for it.
