Please help me! I'm using a clone Arduino Uno and i get that error when i want to upload a code to Arduino. avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 5 of 10: not in sync: resp=0xe1. Please help me ASAP i have to finish school project:(
Try using the old bootloader from "Tools, board" select arduino nano then hover over processor and select "old bootloader". Works for me on some iffy clones ![]()
If that is the only error it should be uploading. If there are more errors please capture them and post per forum guidelines. It tries 10 times and you are only showing one.
Hmmm
How do you select "old bootloader" when using an Uno? That option is only available when selecting a Nano.
Please provide details of your project.
- What is the project about; full details please so we can try to judge what can possibly be wrong or possibly has gone wrong.
- Did it work before? If yes, what changed?
- What is connected to pins 0 and 1? Disconnect as it will interfere with uploads.
- Anything else connected to the board? Disconnect it and try again.
- Original Uno or clone? For clone, which serial-to-usb converter is on the board? If the serial-to-usb converter is not the CH340, run the loopback test and post the results
- Correct board and port selected?
- What does your operating system think of the board?
- Does the selected port disappear from the IDE if you disconnect the board?
Possibly less relevant but good to know
- Which operating system?
- Which version of the IDE?
OS is Windows 10 and IDE is Arduino IDE 2.1.1 latest version.
Project is about Bluetooth connection using HC-06 Bluetooth module.
And yes it worked before using exact same board and module now i'm trying with Buzzer instead of LED but it's not uploading.
HC-06 connected to 0 and 1 (RX and TX) (i'll try disconnecting).
I suggest you go back and read the forum guidelines, your screen shot is not readable.
