Running version 1.6.8 on Mac OS X 10.11.1
Projects load and compile, however when upload get error
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00
The repeats for 10 times and then stops. I cannot even get the blink sketch to run. I have reset the Arduino Which is Arduino Due Board Model Due R3-E
The model is ATmega 328
Hi there are issues with 1.6.8. I would advice you to try using the stabler IDE 1.6.5.
You can also check a few things before that:
nothing is connected on RX and TX pin of your board
You have selected the correct board and port in your IDE
Many thanks for your input. I will try all the suggestions and the board I am using is Arduino Due, but on the IDE Arduino Duemilanova or Diecimila, which I assume is the Due.
