Bai Te Pro Mini sync error with arduino software

Hello people I'm relatively new to arduino and I'm stuck trying to figure out how to get started with the software. For my project I am required to convert an R/C PWM output into an Analog Voltage High.

To achieve this, I have planned to use the Arduino Mini Pro but due to a lack of resources I was only able to obtain the Bai Te Mini Pro which is a cheap imitation.

I have found some info regarding how to set up the ports, drivers as well as compatibility in the arduino software so that shouldn't be the problem. I have connected the pins correctly and even set up an 0.1uF capacitor for the reset.

When I run a simple code just to see if there's an output I get an error message saying it is not in sync, I don't quite get the error message and I have been unable to trouble shoot this issue. Does anyone have any tips, remedies or guideline threads that I can make use of? Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you guys have a sample code for me to test that would be excellent as well as I'm quite new to coding too so I might potentially typed a wrong code to get started.
