Base64 library for encoding/decoding strings

Hello to all,

My first post to the forum. I'm an Arduino fan from New Zealand.

I was wondering if there was a library (or perhaps it's already built into the Arduino framework?) which allows base64 encoding/decoding of strings.

I wanted to build a very simple administration web based interface for a project and would like to utilise HTTP basic authentication.

Is the encoding code in http://www.arduino.cc/playground/Code/TwitterLibrary of use? I wasn't sure if what it referred to as MIME encoding was Base64 or not.

BTW are you based in Christchurch? If so, you might be interested in visiting the Christchurch Creative Space there's a few people here that do Arduino-related things. Feel free to pop along. :-)
