Basic Grove sensor declaration error

Hi, I assume this problem will probably be the simplest error for most of you guys.. Please help this clueless beginner out. So I was trying to use Grove temperature & moisture sensor to make a simple code to blow-off a CFL lamp and then while trying to find a threshold value for the humidity, which required me to update this code:

and from very since I got an error saying:

DHTtester:32: error: 'dht' was not declared in this scope

So I put a declaration of 'DHT' and 'dht' as the internal instruction included says:

int DHTPIN = A0;
int DHTTYPE = DHT22;

But the same message comes up highlightin this line in the script:


Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

I guess you get other errors before that one you posted. My guess is you didn’t install the Adafruit DHT library. Did you check that?
