Basic transistor question

Good afternoon,

I'm just getting into Arduino (not an electronics buff) and I'm trying to build the motor speed control shown in this Instructible

I'm finding it hard to get discrete components, and I have an old motor speed control kit (as yet unassembled) that contains these transistors

BC639, BC640, MOSFET STP60NE06/BUK456

Are any of these a substitute for the T1P120 listed in the Instructible ?

MOSFET STP60NE06

This is not a bipolar transistor like the TIP120 is, but it will work in place of it.
