Hello I have an old battery from a Blackberry Pearl phone like this.. http://the-gadgeteer.com/asset_cache/b/bl/blackberry-pearl-5.jpg and I want to use the battery to power my arduino. I am looking for a pin out on the battery so I can see how to connect it and charge it? Thanks
The battery case has the possitive and negative pads marked. Those will be for output. The other 2 are for charging. If you still have the old phone then use it for charging or get a universal cell phone battery charger. google it and you'll find them. You don't want to just give it power for charging since it will need a charge controler to prevent over charging and fire.
