Battery Interface (Metal Tabs / Blades) suggestions

I'm working on a project and found a battery that is the perfect size for an enclosure I'm making. It's a GoPro Hero 3 battery, but it utilizes some sort of blade like (for lack of a better word) contact setup as seen in the picture, with it's charger.

I'm using Fusion360 and a 3d printer for the enclosure, but I'm having trouble figuring out how to mimic the contacts. Are there any off the shelf components available for this sort of thing?

Go to your local hardware store or autoparts store and ask for brass shim stock that is about the same thickness as the charger.

With scissors, cut some strips to press into the battery. Solder a wire to the brass strip. Cover joint with heat shrink.

Thanks will try that!

Did you also consider a suitable charging circuit? Don't just connect a Li battery to some voltage in the hope that it will be charged without going up in flames

The charger was included with the purchase of the batteries and I intend to use that to charge them.

The enclosure is for a project that will connect the battery to an adafruit powerboost (3.7v-5.2v regulator) to run some electronics, which I can 3d print, I was just having trouble figuring out how to come up with the contacts.

You might only need two contacts.
The third one is usually a (10k) thermistor between that pin and batt(-) to measure temps during charging.

That's nearly bigger than the battery.

I think the brass shim material will be best. Print the enclosure without it and then heat it with your soldering iron and press it into the plastic. Twist and damage the edges a little to make 'barbs' that will hold it in the plastic.

If you’re in the USA, wander off to a good local hobby store, one with model trains is the best place to start. Look for their K&S metal rack, you’ll find brass strip stock that will be a good source for what you need. http://www.ksmetals.com/.

If you cannot find it locally, someone will have the K&S product online.
