Battery packs

Quick question: has anyone had a good/bad experience with a specific battery pack? For example

or

mostly looking at the most mAh per dollar (I'm running servos), but I figured if anyone had an interesting anecdote about one particular pack I'd be all ears.

Also, I just thought of something. To save juice you can have LEDs running on a half duty cycle (or any fraction, whatever), can you do something like that for servos, or rather motors? I think probably yes. I know it would go slower, but I'd rather it go slower for longer than faster for shorter.

Those are pretty neat - didn't realize folks were making arduino sized packs. I've got a 1000mAH LI Ion battery on order from gravitech and I've got a charger chip from maxim already to use in an RF remote control to charge it from 5V or from a USB port.

I have the nuelectronics one. I had to drill out a stand-off hole and monster the ICSP header on my duemilanove to connect it. Got no replies to a couple of emails I sent. But the gear is good! Haven't worried about power and I have GPS and LCD running on my battery. A Tower of Power
