Not without us knowing what your battery power system might consist of.

Need more info:

"Print" status to WHAT? Serial port? LCD display? What is "battery status"? Terminal voltage? What is your battery voltage range?

void setup() {
  Serial.begin(9600);
}

void loop() {
  Serial.println("Battery: OK");
}

When it stops printing "Battery: OK" you know the battery is flat.

When it stops printing "Battery: OK" you know the battery is flat.

LOL!

I have used this https://code.google.com/p/tinkerit/wiki/SecretVoltmeter with success to keep the brigthness of a LED constant when the battery voltage is changing (eg:using the USB or running on 2 AA batteries)

Thanks m8 that help.
