BC548 or other transistor for 3×3×3 led cube

Hello,

I want to make a 3×3×3 led cube. I saw on the Internet that they use a transistor (mostly something like 2N2222) to do the trick. But I have a BC548. Can I use this one and wich resistor does it need? Or can I better use a MOSFET to do it? I is my first time I use transistor's.

Thanks

Robbe

Any typical small NPN transistor should work… Base resistor of 220 to 1000 should be OK.

My wife built a 3x3x3 and the code and library is HERE:

So my BC548 would work?

Hi, Should be OK...

Thanks for this!
