Hello,
I'm a total noob on Arduino (I don't even have a board yet), I just want to know if my project can be done.
I have put leds in some of my LEGO set. Here, you can found an example : Easily Light Up Lego Harry Potter Attack on the Burrow 75980 – Lightailing
It is just a strip led (even more a "string led" because the leds are link by only the small cables) powered by usb (you plug the usb in a box with 3 AA batterys inside).
I also have a Philips Hue bridge for some of my light bulbs.
I want to know if it's possible to control the Arduino through the Hue app so I can turn on and off the led. I know we can send https request to the bridge to control Hue ligth but I don't if we can do "reverse".
I know there is some app designed for that but I want to know if we can use the power of Hue instead of adding something else.
Also, as I'm begginer in electronics, do you know a good way to virtualize an Arduino to test before starting on the real card ? I have to try some sites I found but if you have some experience to share, it will be appreciate !
Thanks for your future answers.
PS: As some of you maybe already seen, I'm not a English antive speaker, so don't hesitate to ask for details or reformulation.
