Not a problem. It's happened to me before as well.
And I fully agree with the use of the PC power supply as a bench power supply. It puts out way too much current for general use. And some Older PSUs, only regulate on a single power output, This means if your using the side that is regulated, the unregulated side will go up in voltage. At some point it could actually blow a capacitor. The opposite is true if your using the unregulated side. The voltage will drop significantly, making it unsuitable for high current. whereas many have gotten them to work, they are not an ideal solution.
