Bend sensor to control mini actuator linear

Hi everybody

I am totally new at adruino (althouth i have some basics in C/C++ and electronic) and I have some question about what composants do I need for my project before I start buying thing for nothing ;).

What I want to do is using an arduino card to control, without computeur, a mini actuator linear DC in response to the flex of a bend sensor. My power alimentation would be a 12v battery and the need of the actuator about 12v or more (I didn't find the right one yet).

So my questions are:

Should i need a a driver shield for my actuator?
What other componant will i need?resistances for the sensor? Transistor?Del?
Do you know some good web page for an mini actuator working on 12v ,with a a stroke of 20 mm, a strength of 50N,and a speed of at least 20mm.s-1?? I've been looking a lot all other the internet and i couldn't find something like that...

Thanks a lot for your time.
