Hi, I'm new to Arduino and have no clue where to start with the programming of my project. I'm going to be making a camera slider and using an Arduino Uno or Nano as the controller for the stepper motors. I am just wondering what would be the best language to use for the programing of the Arduino, whether I should use C or C++ as I am not sure what the benefits or downfalls are in regards to my programming project. Thanks in advance for any help. Matt

The best language to use would be the only one it can be programmed using - C++.
The C language is essentially a subset of C++. So, it's essentially a non-issue. You can start with basic C programming techniques and add C++ features as you advance.
Sweet, thank you both for the help! I shall look into starting to program in C and then moving up to C++.
