Best Motor Controller- 12v DC

I am using several 12v DC motors to control my robot driving around and need a motor driver/controller for them. Motors are 12v and around 2 amp stall current. I have seen the L298n but from what I have read they are very efficient. I haven't had much luck looking for any other alternatives unless they are rated for 10 plus amps. Thanks in advance.

Motor I am using:

I also found this one.

Overrated is way better than underrated.

What is your criteria for best? I'm suspecting that you think cheapest == best, but that is hardly ever the case.

How about that DRV8871? Was it just the price you didn't like? I ordered one for a project but it hasn't shown up yet.

try to use adafruit v2 motor dc shield, you can control 4 DC motor with 12 V 2 A external power supply for each motor.
