What is the best way to calculate output color for cheap eBay RGB LED given typical Luminosity & Wavelength?
I could also use a program that calculates it that I found online called, "chroma photonlexicon". (Google it)
However, the program was designed for laser combination, (ie. a RGB laser) and therefor uses Wattage as the only unit of measurement for the power variable associated with each color being combined.
I'm likely going to end up being told by grumpymike, or more likely greynomad/retrolefty (as they tend to be more active this time of day)
how to calculate the Wattage used by an LED, and it is probably going to be in the form of a formula and told to calculate myself....
Whichever way it is, Thanks for taking your time to educate me...

Well I'm here but probably not too useful for your question. One thing I would be pretty certain of is that wattage consumed by the LED would not be the key input specification needed as that wouldn't account for the efficiency value of the led to converting electrical current to light output, and I would suspect that the individual led colors might even have different efficiency values. I suspect a good typical RGB datasheet and google might be your best path forward.
