best way to get two way communication between boards ?

I know the questions is a bit vague but I need to know a good easy way to get two way wireless Communication between two ardunio boards of ranged under 15 meters.

so far i have only found guides on between the board and a computer.

Use Xbee radios. Not the cheapest but certainly the simplest to install and operate.

Sorry I thought the xbees where only 1 way ?

You are wrong, they are two way.

Sorry just to be 100% clear this is the module you are talking about

otherwise thank you very much il buy a few and start prototyping

The nRF24L01+ modules are only about £2 each and work very well.

I got my nRF24s working with this Tutorial

I suggest you use the TMRh20 version of the RF24 library - it solves some problems from the ManiacBug version

The pair of programs in this link may be useful.

That is a bluetooth-2 board and not really suitable as the range is about 10m. A bluetooth-4 module is good for about 60m.

No.

Here is a compiled wishlist of the things you’d need for xbees, and here is a great 5 part tutorial on using Xbees.

Note: If you want to communicate two arduino’s directly, you’d need two shields, and two header kits.
