A nice hack. I was working on a project when it started, nearly had a heart attack.
Soon enough over that and disposing of the Pac-Men by clicking on them, wires come back, worked when they were no longer visible, a nice hack.

Is it possible to turn off the "pacman"?
They really bother these annoying guys.
I could not find any key combination. The pacmen do not effect the circuit, even when all the wires have been eaten. I guess this is a good day to walk the dog.
When the simulation is not running, click on the round button with the three dots on right side of the screen (the side with the circuit). Deselect the "fun" mode.
