BHT-200 Intercom -

Hi,
I want to grep the signals from a BHT-200 Intercom Home Phone.
Minimal Goal is to detect the ring signal with a microcontroller in order to send it to my smart home and trigger the door opener.
Beond that sending sending and recording audio would be optional.

according to their website they are using an I2 Bus where i cant find any references for. Not shure if it actually is I2s or anything else

Any ideas?

What Arduino are you thinking about, most do not have an OS or any software that works like grep.

I²S, is an electrical serial bus interface standard used for connecting digital audio devices together. It is used to communicate PCM audio data between integrated circuits in an electronic device. Wikipedia

Interesting. So if I call your door will open?

don't want to Linux like grep - sorry for the bad english. I want to extract signals from the I2 bus.

and yes, i want to connect the doorbell to my smartphone. Using it to answer calls and as a door opener
