I have noticed that if you click the big orange + next to a forum - you see the new posts - most excellent
today I saw + next to Products and Services
clicked it - no threads
went back - yup + still there
clicked the forum title - yup 3 new threads
do what ref?!?!?

I got lost ... it is maybe to late to be reading the forum, but could you please describe it with words, please please?

EDIT: I see now what you mean ... the sign is kind of misleading, it is not marking that there are unread messages. Also the link is linking to the unread messages that exist on topics you have been posting something into ...
turns out that thanks to your message I figured out we were suffering of something else as you can see here:
so thanks for your comment. Now people can reliably list all the unread messages (unread since last visit) and check all the unread posts since the beginning of time (or when the forum was opened).
Now I will check your issue again
