Hello, below is a circuit of a solar setup with bypass and blocking diodes.
I understand that the blocking diodes in the circuit are good to have because lets say that i have the panels hooked up to a battery when there is no light on the panels, the battery wont discharge through the panels.
I am trying to understand how the bypass diodes work, i get that it is good if lets say a shadow is covering part of the panel, you want to give a path for current to be able to flow without lots of resistance.
I found a pictorial diagram that i found below.
My question was, is it correct the way i drew the battery load and conventional current path in (red)?
